Sorry to hear about your mother and your aunt. Hope things improve soon with your mum.

It's not just lanes they don't grit! We've got a bus route at the back of our house, and another one runs past the school where I work, and nowhere in either area has been gritted since this current bout of snow started. A bus got into trouble on the hill just past school yesterday morning and the result was gridlock - and school cancelled again. My kids' bus got stuck in the chaos and gave up the effort an hour and a half after they got on it having travelled what would normally take five minutes. And today, I expect it'll be really treacherous underfoot, so it's going to be a horrible walk to work.

I'm really sorry to hear about both your mother and your aunt. Thinking of you *hugs*

The cold weather is insane, and I'm definitely over it. Yesterday it snowed and I just couldn't appreciate the pretty because everything is still iced over from the last snowfalls. And it's just cold all the time, outdoors and indoors.

Oh hon, I am so sorry to hear about your mum and aunt. How awful.

*hugs*

Most of our snow is gone now. Still lots of ice, but thankfully I have been able to drive again. As being stuck inside all the time was driving me nuts.

I would be scared stiff to answer the phone too. I really am so sorry. And I really hope things improve for your mum.
