Swimming at the North Pole
Taking a swim at the North Pole. It sounds unreal, fantastic, impossible. Maybe in fifty years the globe will be hot enough that the North Pole won't be covered in solid ice in the middle of summer. Sure there is global warming, but it's not happening that fast right? That's what all our government leaders are telling us right?

Live Earth
I find it encouraging that Gore prevailed in Washington DC, and despite many attempts to thwart the Live Earth concert there, he found a place. That it was the Native American museum amuses me even more. I look at this like a microcosm of the battle for denial on the issue of global warming.
