0/1- almost as soon as I got off my choco, i see a /sh: LL, hit scan, there she is... flee, claim while the shouter was standing next to it (appearantly farming, already had boots). No one else was there /shrug
0/2- beat out about 4 other campers- popped on outer edge of area, flee ftw
0/3- another uncontested pop, only about 35 minutes after previous.
Jackpot! Another contested pop, but again, popped on outter edge, and I was the only scan/flee combo. Sold original boots for 2.8M - so 7M from pin & boots, quite the return on investment :D
Had my first thf burn (sata burn w/e) last night. I was actually flagging on my nin & got a tell from a couple old LS mates. I had been itching to try it, and it had been a while since I xp'd off thf, so I said sure.
Set Up:
4x THF/NIN, BRD, WHM - Lufaise Meadows
I haven't updated my thief xp gear in ages, but got to see some nice gear in action- p.harpe/sirocco, homan gear, tempting me to sell the unsho i've been socking away as I level ninja to update my thf gear... but I'd at least like to see U+U in action before I sell it.
We had the place to ourselves at the start, but our first chain was interrupted after 6 with the arrival of another pt & subsequent tagging of our next bird :/. About 20 minutes later, yet another PT showed up... a "thecrew" pt... honestly don't know why they'd come when there were 2 pts there already... so a lack of mobs capped our chains, but the potential for some nice ones is there. Ended up getting 2 merits. PT was a blast, if these gain in popularity, I may just have to update that gear^^
Group tried a new limbus area & it was pretty fun. We didn't clear, but we did get both chests on the 6th floor- ended up with 40 coins & 2 war, sam, smn af materials... of course, our group has 0 war & 0 smn leveled up, and the 1 sam wasn't on.
When the time comes, I'm going to be torn between boxer's mantle & brutal earring... leaning towards boxer's as it will help in my finishing up leveling NIN, but know I want brutal at some point for sure.
Did a couple Seiryus & a Byakko. First seiryu was a bust, just shura head & sword, 2nd put out almost all dropsthough- including what I'm pretty sure was just a 2nd Koenig head. I was allowed to lot S.Kote, taking me 1 step closer to finishing my RNG gears up. Good timing too, so I could use them on Byakko. Big thanks to ON^^
