I have a nasty buzz on my jazzmaster bridge. I tuned up to standard and it was even worse. Any advice? I'm using 13's right now. I didn't really hve this problem with 10's.

Can you identify what's buzzing? It's often one of the saddle screws - if so, get some teflon plumber's tape and wrap it around the little grub screws to stop them moving; that or blue Loctite. Even clear nail varnish will do it - and you can get that off with nail polish remover if you need to alter the saddle height ( ... )

wow, thanks! I'm looking for a mustang bridge, have been for months now, but I can't find them for less than $40. Is it really worth the price of paying that much?

I'd say so - it removes a lot of frustration and is completely non-intrusive: just slips straight in. To make my Mustang bridge really stable, I cut up a thick elastic band and put the pieces between a few of the saddles to completely stop any side-to-side movement ( ... )
