beware that the Japanese Jazzmasters are a slightly different size to US reissues and old ones, so pickguards made for US and vintage ones won't fit without redrilling holes, moving switches etc. (the same goes for parts like trem arms, pots etc)

Have you browsed Warmouth? They have a slew of pickguard colours and materials don't they?
I should mail them to see if they have a maroon pearloid for the cyclone.

and do you guys know anything about ripping out jaguar pickups and replacing them with HUMBUCKERS?
sonic youth have customised thier own and call them JAZZBLASTER's.
i want i want i want.
i have a 94 japanese jaguar and the pickups are less than choice, so i was thinking about re-wiring it and setting it up with HOTT pickups.
i'm not really much of a gearhead, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
