Games an WoW

I've had a long hard week at work with my fellow workmate put in the hospital due to a punch up. Still during it all I've been working on my board game and have almost got all the pieces ready to do a playtest. Thing is during this time it seems that all my friends have gotten addicted to WoW and now I'm pretty much alone again.

thats kind of rude of them, but to be honest why not just turn off tv and say that isnt what they were invited over for?
I'll take socialising with friends over WoW any day :)

The funny thing is it wasn't my art day, it was their art day which I kind of thought of joining in on. And I don't get as much say over the TV as you'd think.

WoW - crack for geeks. Kinda surprising though, I've never heard of an art day going that badly 'wheels up', generally when people come over to draw, all supplied-up, they end up drawing at least a little. At least this is my experience of art days. Generally we'd throw on music the minute people walked through the door though, which tends to discourage the turning-on of TVs and other competing sound-generating electronics.

The evil reach of WoW extends further than I ever expected. o_O

One thing to note though - in the spirit of your new years rez's, it's probably always better to politely say something at the time than to be miserable the whole day and write about it later when it's too late to find a positive solution.

I tend to get moody which is something I shouldn't do but I've never been great at confrontation unless it really means something to me.

well we all did so some arting jason. untill about 2ish i think when we found out that some peeps werent coming =P so we didnt use tv all day long. then i got off at night.

I don't have any plans for this weekend. I certainly won't be playing WoW. :P
