I think we know why the Asias dont have such a high GDP so im not going to get into that BUUUUUUUUUT
I am going to Europe in April and hopefully staying for awhile Im planning to see 4 places Austria, France, England(maybe the entire UK), and ofcourse im going to Amsterdam.
Nice! I thought it was just Austria? Awesome your going to France! Which part?
Oh and for Asia, yeah I know why Asia doesn't have high GDP (though India and China surpass the 3 European powers (France, UK, Germany) in terms of GDP, but this is just sheer numbers after numbers after numbers... Not economic and development/ingenuity of the people. Their economic (military too) 'power' is the equivalent of throwing a 500 darts at a dart board and getting a bullseye where as Europe (and others) would be throwing 1 dart and getting a bullseye. Plus, Asia hit like 800AD and stayed their another 600-over 1000 years without any sort of progress or development untill Europe came and taught them (look at Japan's success. it was the only non-European power prior to 1945 to say "hey Europe's got it right, we'll copy them" and they threw out their feudal system and their swords and picked up battleships and airplanes and guns.. brought to them and taught to them by Europeans of course).
Luxembourg is also the richest country (per person) on the planet! Average person makes 59,000$ US.. the closest is the USA with $41,000 (it's only so high because of celebrity and corperate big wigs). Obviously it's buffed up considering the USA has a sad over 10% below the poverty line. Compared to other First world nations (France 6%, Belgium, 4%).
