for so many years my emotion bag was empty. over time, little pebbles of sadness were added. also, some small stones of joy. there were some of nostalgia, empathy, and lust. apparently, over time, these all jostled together creating a powder, or dust of anger. i never even realized it was there. until my parents surprised me and i dropped the ( Read more... )

That metaphor in the beginning of your post was amazingg. You do write well, and should continue to do it (when you're mad or whenever) cuz it's really therapeutic. I love to write when I want/need to express myself. Poetry, just confiding in my personal diary at home, yeahh, I do have one.

It's good you wrote down all these goals you want to accomplish. It really is a great start, at least you can recognize you want to change. And once you set your mind to something and you're passionate about it (like school) you will accomplish it.

Good luck!! Oh yeah, I like how you said you'd rather be child-like than childish. Early in my poetry class this semester we talked about how words mean the same thing, like those two, it's to act like a child. But they have different connotations. Child-lilke is happy-go-lucky and excitable, but childish is annoying or immature. Both technically mean the same thing but people take them completely different. It was funny you brought that up.

You should put this entry in your 'memories' section. Or write it down, in shorter fragments even, and post it somewhere in your room or house. That'd probably be a good reminder.
