3. When High Fidelity came out the only thing about me that wasn't that movie was I didn't own the store. And I claimed not to make lists. Otherwise that movie had me pegged. (Which is my #1 favorite Steely Dan song, peg that is.)

7. I too will sing to everything in the car including NPR.

16. I have an entire wall of cd's, one comic book (black sabbath the ozzy years), 3 VHS tapes.

17. My first demo tape I did for my high school band they put me in the liner notes as "jazzy joe"

20. "My diagnosis, bad babysitting."

To my mind, you're in an in-between place between "net people" and "real life people." Seems about right. Had I not spent the last few years laid up in work obligations/mild poverty, I'm sure we'd've done more.

Your guitar practice regimen reminds me of mine, lately. This is a sad state of affairs.

The Super NES *is* the pinnacle of gaming. Polygons are overrated. What's disappointing is when I think about how GREAT an old-school 2D game could be with today's processing power, and how it'll likely never happen.

Yeah, I gotta get behind the SNES comments. That was the last game system I owned when it was new, and it commanded a good portion of my teenage life.

For Christmas I got a 64 and a shit ton of games for it, and that's been pretty awesome. I've been chipping away at Ocarina of Time, which is an excellent game, and Mario Party has dethroned even the mighty Rock Band as the game to play when there's company. Although the gesture was very appreciated and I love playing the games, I'm still holding out hope that I'll get an SNES as a gift somewhere down the road.
