Immortality is a belief

I’m going to live forever. I’ve always known. That kind of knowledge gives me freedom. Nothing seems bad if you have forever for the hurt to go away. Patience is no longer a virtue, it’s how you live. Nothing is wasted because infinity cannot be diminished by subtracting two hours, six days, or three years. I have so much time to do everything in

No...it's not. There are things in this world that are bad and affect people even if they choose to remain in that mindset.

yes, bad things do affect people, but you can either let it ruin your life or you can choose to acknowledge it and then move on. And please don't assume people don't understand bad things just because you don't think bad things haven't happened to them.

I'm not assuming that at all...everyone's had bad things happen to them. All I'm saying is that even if you believe you are immortal, there are forces in this world outside your personal space bubble that can take away that immortality.
