I’ve had my curtains open all this evening: the moon has been steadily arching is way upon its horizon from the bottom right to the top left corner of my window. Its gravitational orbit seems a fitting picture of observation for contemplating the various possibilities in my life. Have you ever read the iron man by ted hughes? I remember jackanory had it on when i was a kid - read by the equally scary tom baker - all my favourite memories involve me scared/scarred as a child

i knew it was based on one of my old mucker ted's stories, but i've not read many books, and the ones that i have read, have so far not included that one. its a great film though.

i spoke to gareth (eggie) the other night and mentioned OUR (har har) proposed wickerman/summer solstice festival/party and he said he'd ali roberts might be into that too! we've/you've obviously got a while to plan stuff, so maybe we could do something pretty spectacular!!! let me know yr thoughts on this - and if i can muscle my way into its organisation?

You're more than welcome to muscle your way into any of my many, many corrupt organisations.
It'd be good to organise something proper...maybe get some of the bristol lot involved, although i hear movietone have split up (harumph). Flights direct from from Glasgow to Bournemouth work out pretty cheap, so it's possible. hmmm....

And obviously, I'm a huge Ali accolyte - He's officially the quietest man I've ever spoken too, and has an altogether uncommon amount of respect for all things pagan.

Winspit, Dorset - it would need to be outside.

there's also a (little) big thing going on up here at the end of this month - some sort of all day thing with the band lucky luke, daniel padden, and a bunch of underground free folksters - its being organised by chris from scatter/lucky luke - so i'll be keeping my ears open for anyone who might want to don a hooded druids cloak and head southwards to the ocean with me.
