We can be so self centered that we don't realize that something is bad until it happens to us. I'm sorry you guys but I, like everyone else, live in my own little world. Keep your heads on and try to remember that people don't generally want to hurt you.

Possible, but could it also be that we just refuse to let something bad affect us until it is unavoidable? I'm a strong advocate of partial apathy, because getting worked up or upset rarely ever helps.
