Are Coldplay one of those bands that everyone is meant to like but you can't actually find anyone who actually likes them?

They're alright. Some good songs, but they're a little bit ... grey

I liked them when their first album came out. Then promptly forgot about them when my parents started liking them and the second album came out...

since then they've become more and more dull! But seeing as they've sold so many albums, I reckon there's a lot of fans out there, probably the same people who like stuff like Snow Patrol!

Which is probably because coldplay and snow patrol are practically the same band? Lol. O dear.

They definitely fall into the band of artists that make forty somethings feel hip for buying something thats in the charts.

I like Coldplay and I actually bought their newest CD... there's a few on their X&Y CD that I love.. ;)
