Second Guess - Missing Chapters

A long time ago when I posted the fic, Second Guess to LJ, something went wrong. (anyone that has ever uploaded lengthy fics to LJ wouldn't be at all surprised, I bet ;) ) I never reread my fics, and therefore had no idea there was an entire chapter missing. At some point after this, I uploaded the fic to A03 and the error went over with it. I

Thanks for the update! As a side note, I always read my fic on an archive because that's when you find all the typos that ten betas missed earlier! LOL! It looks different than in your word program so you see things better. At least I do!

I think by the time it's uploaded, I'm sick to death of reading it and rarely revisit them. What's a bit frustrating is that when I found the error on A03, I didn't connect it to the LJ upload, just thought it was a problem from LJ to A03. So all this time, it was missing on LJ as well. It doesn't read right without the chapter, but only one person ever picked up that there seemed to be something missing. I remember a similar problem with one of Jane's elf stories, I picked up that there seemed to be this odd gap and there was a whole chapter missing. ;) So it must be an easy thing to happen on such long stories. :)

well, probably would have been easier for me to pick it up, had I actually read it once it was uploaded. Which I never have. ;) Lesson learned. But by the time it's uploaded, I'm so over the whole story, its no wonder it got missed. :)

Oh, thank you! I've just looked, and I've got a copy that's five years old and the chapter is missing - did I not notice at the time? No idea! But it's a fabulous excuse to re-read *g*

was it really that long ago? Oh my, where does the time go? I feel rather idiotic that I didn't notice it was missing, but I do remember having a lot of trouble uploading that one to LJ. Anyway it was really just notification for those who kept a copy in their electronic readers to replace it. :)

Thank you for bringing this story to my notice. I probably did read it before, as I did remember a couple of parts, but the old brain doesn't remember a lot of things these days. I reckon that's good, as I always have a new story to read a few years on. *bg*

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Poor Bodie and his muddled mind.

LOL. I sometimes see a story and go, oh that's one I haven't read, but when I start reading it, I remember it. New stories are very rare these days.
