a not-so-subtle reminder
It’s been a day, a hell of a day. A curiously crazy guts-splayed kind of day. This is not the place for the story but to say… maybe I needed it …maybe we needed it. We haven't gotten to this fourth year by breezing through, we have made it here by fighting for it.
We are also water and fire.
It is so amazing to look back now on the times we've pushed and pulled in the life of our relationship and know that it didn't always come easy and that we really have put our blood, sweat and tears into it.
Love, when it’s worth having, requires a fight now and then.
And, you are so right.
