i hope everyone had a lovely ringing in of 2008.
mine was pretty uneventful until around 4am, driving
home, when a guy tried to get INTO my car at a red light.
right by my apartment, too. spooky.
the last time i made a livejournal update
i was planning to make a list of goals. things
i could check off. progress! etcetera.
2008 so far, so good
i joined a bowling league. the first game was last night.
our team name is the Butterballs, which works on many levels.
we bowl at Lincoln Square Lanes, which is a super cute & quaint
alley that sits on a second floor, above an ACE hardware store.
discovered the league through a flickr friend, named aggie.
she's super sweet and talented. and near-disgustingly in love
with her boyfriend. if they weren't so damned cute, i'd puke.
speaking of eating disorders. i am going to have to acquire one.
i hate my personal trainer. not because he makes me sore.
because he owes me another session and has not made the time.
not sure i'm going to stay at my current gym. my contract is
up so i'm looking for closer-to-work-options. that are cheaper.
shouldn't be too difficult, considering how much i pay monthly.
there are so many local restaurants i have not tried.
i am trying to compile a list of places to stuff my face.
just in case you were worried, i still love stuffing my face.
lots of travel on the horizon. still trying to figure
out when i am going to be able to visit Orlando. i am
thinking april or may. depends on how broke i am post-germany.
feeling a little under the weather. over the weather? both.
catching a cold. and just in time for my trip to souther california.
hopefully the drastic change in weather won't put me over the edge.
whee. i am half-dreading, half-excited about this trip.
i am hoping to catch up with some of my californian friends
but i am pretty sure i'm just going to have time to work & sleep.
which kind of blows.
speaking of work! there is some map strategizing
that i am blatantly avoiding + have put off for too long.
