Uh, Full Moon was, um, like 10 days ago. New Moon on Monday night - Rosh Hashana.

However, weird students...well, that is life.

Huh, that's odd. Cause it's definitely not a full moon - Jewish holidays are remarkably good for keeping track of that. Rosh Hashana always falls on a new moon, Sukkot on a full moon, Hanukkah has a new moon in the middle of it, Tu B'Shvat, Purim, and Passover are all on or one day off from a full moon...

Not so useful in the middle of summer, but good around the holidays.

Did they say anything important in the debates, or was it the dull questions about nothing I expected? I was watching a movie instead.

No real shockers, but Obama did REALLY well considering that the debate was (ostensibly) about foreign policy, which is considered McCain's domain. A few McCain stumbles, and the analysts say that Obama said too often that he agreed with McCain, but I thought it was fine.

Then again, I had already made up my mind, so I wasn't really going to be influenced by what was said.
