My thoughts under the cut to prevent unnecessary spoilage... okay NCIS F-listers... comment away!
Again, I am watching one of the most captivating episodes of NCIS all season. The overall episode was absolutely fabulous...
My Favorite Parts
1. Gibbs shaving his hair a bit...
2. Gibbs former boss showing up, calling him "probie".
3. Jenny: "You remembered us making love, didn't you Jethro?"
4. Seeing this weaker, less "macho" side of Gibbs.
5. Ziva threatening the Turkish guy again!
6. Tony: I'm not Gibbs, now am I?
7. Gibbs: How could I forget you [Ducky]. Your mother left you on the bus.
In truth, I loved how Gibbs has been the sole focus of the episode because it's so rare that we get to focus on Gibbs and get his story. And finally, we got to see Jenny Shepard in action. For this whole season, she's been director and less agent, even though we know it's possible for her to be an agent, and taking over for Gibbs shows just how good she is/was.
I absolutely loved Ziva's way of getting Gibbs memory back by giving him vital info yet leaving out the details. Of course, that led to the ability to see a more softer side of Ziva, which I really liked -- finally seeing her cry for killing her brother, Ari.
I really hated how the case ended. I can't believe that they let those people die... and god damn it! He quits and runs off to Mexico?!
