It has been a really long time since I last updated my journal... And a lot of things have happened in that time. One being that Michael Phelps won 8 GOLD MEDALS IN BEIJING!!!! Jaime, you know I am not really into the politics thing.. but McCain is a moron and if he's in office, it is going to be like having another 4 years of Bush--just a little more literate. I know Obama isn't that experienced but be careful when it comes to the republican party right now-- at least Obama is talking about taxing the right people. If you're confused, start researching-- this year voting is the difference between us staying in the Middle East forever or getting out of there.

You're right.

Obama is the clear choice. Now you know who McCains VP is, a moose-eating ultra-conservative creationist nutjob who has a cloud of scandals about her and even less experience than Obama, despite all the bullshit ads the Repubs are running.

Think about the issues. You are liberal. You believe in social justice, protecting the environment, all that jazz. McCain isnt going to deliver that for you. Obama is. Thats the bottom line.

And Biden is a great VP choice...served in the Senate for over 30 years, has more foreign policy experience than any other Senator (because he has been chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations committee). Plus he has working class roots (something most of us can relate to) and almost a clean slate (i.e., no major scandals).
