oh deary me. identity theory... that's what you want to be reading up on, katie. i mean, a homosexual vegetable?!? i don't think vegetables have a sexuality. a carrot is a root. :) but your musings are very entertaining!

p.s. great self photography!! it doesn't even look like you took it! (well, i couldn't tell)

i am struggling to grasp your point in the last paragraph, but i'm giving it a go anyway.

the whole carrot thing i'm not too sure what you're getting at, but with the girl thing...

are you saying that it's only insulting to be called a girl, if you are in fact better than a girl? (whatever that means, for females are the superior being, and one day the rest of the world will catch on...)
so if a female at primary school, can not throw (nothing to do with being a girl, just the fact that they SUCK (lol)) and can not run, it is therefore not insulting to girl her a girl. for by default, she is one, and should not be able to run or throw anyway.
then i gather from what you said, if a girl can run, and can throw, it is now insulting to call her a girl... for, my understanding of how you put it, is that the term 'girl' is used to label someone who is 'less able'. so it is a term used to bring people down, rather than actually describe someone who is physically a girl ( ... )

er... yes and no... what i wanted to say was that when for eg i was at nippers, ie life savers, i was always as fast as the fastest boys in the group, and whenever they wanted to degrade another boy, cos he wasn't a natrual bundle of testosterone infused muscles like themselves, they'd say to him 'you're such a girl!!!'. i suppose i was just ranting about the opposite sex. ja.
