I found the note on my shop door this morning. No contact number, just Jake's name, and a time. Clever Jake, making sure I don't have the opportunity to chicken out and change my mind.

I'm nervous, waiting for him to arrive. I close the shop early, leave another note on the door (Back at 1.30pm), and stand outside smoking a cigarette, trying to settle my nerves. It's been a long time since I was at a group like this.

"Noni? Hi. Thank you so much, for taking the time. It means a lot to me." She looks nervous, resolute, happy? yeah, happy. I am, too. I've missed meetings...never thought I'd say that, in the beginning. But now? Oh, Billy...if you only knew how good it can be...
