Why so hysteric?

OK, on to MY frustration now.

Dudes, is it me, or this spoilers hysteria went WAY beyond the line?

A poor girl wants to share some info she's got her eyes on, fucking TITLES it "casting season 4", and then posts. And then like thousand of people who obviously DIDN'T bother reading the title, but still have the nerve of accusing HER of not reading the ( Read more... )

Casting spoilers don't bother me. It's knowing what the character of said cast member will do in the show/ep. Besides, it's no secret in fandom that people will get pissed if you don't put any kind of spoiler big or small behind a cut.

Although I do agree that all the comments about using a cut were not necessary. 1 or 2 fine but more than that is just useless.

I'm a spoiler lover. Or, rather, I don't care. And I know it's me, and other people do feel differently. But all the 98% of the comments containing various types of "UAAAAA CUT CUT CUT" DOESN'T seem to help. They scared the hell out of the poor French gal, thanks to their OWN inability to read. I mean what, if they don't see a "Look before crossing" sign, would they cross the road without checking it? Should EVERYTHING be delivered in a ready-to-swallow format? Did everyone gave up on thinking and paying attention without explicit warning?

And the most aggravating thing is that instead of trying to explain to her in normal words how to fix it, they used whatever wit they deluded themselves they posses for thinking of the most biting and caustic reply. Now THIS is plain pathetic.

Now she's too terrified to execute properly even the smallest things (like follow the instructions you and couple other guys nicely provided, helpfully, in French).

Way to go, fandom :-(((((
