So, MTV.com just announced that Green Day is going to be in The Simpsons Movie. And I guess that they're in the trailer and I didn't notice it.

If this were 3 years ago, I'd be excited about this. But at the present time, I can't help thinking "God-fucking-dammit". I'll bet this is Mike Scully's fault somehow.

The whole American Idiot thing plus me getting more worldly with my music has just kind of pushed them out.

will they have voice parts? i think it's kinda cool... kind of reminicent of the King of the Hill days.

I'm assuming it'll be speaking parts since there was a story about it. Their appearance on KOTH was decent because they played characters, not "OMGZ GREEN DAY!" like they're most likely going to be in the movie.

The Mike Scully thing was just a reference to Simpsons nerds hating Mike Scully.
