So, prom was yesterday. This year was totally better than last year's prom in almost every way. The dance was more fun, after prom didn't drag on, and my date was really cool. I'm picking up my "new" truck after school today. I'm excited, if only because now I have the freedom to go places without having to call people and ask for rides, which I always feel guilty doing since I live so far away from everywhere. Shangra-La (not sure on the spelling) buffet in Boardman is the best Chinese resturaunt ever. Chinese buffalo wings, squid, good sushi, and gourmet cakes. Shangra-La is even better than Sunny's, which I didn't even think was possible. Plus, there's a little pond that goes under the entrance with fish. Awesome ( Read more... )

So today I was driving into Salem to meet the guys at Sunny's, our typical Friday. As I turned onto state street, I noticed a huge amount of smoke in the sky. Why does Ohio weather have to be so screwy? It's supposed to be like 30 and rainy on Friday. Oh well, Scooter, Ben, Austin, and I are still going golfing even if it's 15 and snowing ice, because I fucking want to go golfing, dammit.
