The Indian All-you-can-eat Lunch Buffet and Me

There is something in my left eye, and I'm fighting the sleepy-time effects of Chicken Tikka Masala.

For the weekend, we engaged in a lovely journey to Charlottesville, VA, home of the Commercialized Cavaliers. Cohort-ing along were my friends and yours, zigethos, jkuhnert, the organizer sammilincoln and a bunch of others. I met a great number of people, and saw a few old ( Read more... )

Be myself. If all my memories were to be replaced I would be nothing of the person I am today. While it would be pleasurable in some alternate reality sort of way, I would be a different person, and becoming a different person now is really bad timing because I am just starting to really know myself.

This sounds like you want to remain unchanging, whereas we are always trying to better ourselves. If changing your memory of the past in some small way could help you change yourself for the better, would you do it then? Purely in the interest of self-improvement?

Yes, yes, maybe it is in fact the complacent people who could perfect their complacency by correcting their past. Even some complacent people say things like they wish they had an oriental chick sometime. With the right past you could perhaps justify your present.

Maybe you want to make your past far worse to motivate yourself more.

Mehak, on 29 between Gallows and Graham. There is also London Motorcars next door where we saw some sweet classic Jaguars and MGs and Alfa Romeos. Yummy.

Chicken Tikka Masala is so good.
