Looking back I probably should call this 'shucking and fucking'

I have absolutely no skill with people. You know this. I urge you not to mark me as a mentally diseased 'other' and still love me regardless. But sometimes, especially today, once someone has gotten under my skin, like a delicate slip of a shucking knife between the shells of an oyster and then I am left totally ruined for at least a day. It doesn't sound too bad, he wasn't mad. Just force yourself not to think about it.
Also, remember what you said to the girl at starbucks about her friend. Maybe you should write a book about trying to learn social tact. It'd be funny.

Oh, Nick. First of all, we all have moments when we say or do things that are totally inappropriate (TRUST ME) but if he's as great as you say he is, he should be able to see past that to how glorious you are the rest of the time. You are a magnificent specimen of humanity, and not just because you're really, really, rediculously good looking. Plus, your occassional tactlessness is part of your charm. No joke. I love you for it. And it doesn't seem like he was too upset anyway, so you're probably mostly building this up in your mind. Hopefully the bubble bath, and the intense cuddling/heckling I expect during Lying Around tomorrow will help! And since when are you crew? For what?
