This would be the third time now that my iPhone has dumped all of the music on it.

5gb of dead "other" space on the phone used up. No music.

You aren't hooking it up to a second computer are you? The only time I've seen something like that is when I'd hook it up to my laptop and it's sync with it and since there's no music or photos there, it would dump it all.

You're probably right. I clicked the option that allowed me to share it with multiple computers, so I don't know what's going on. If this is the problem, it's 1) a bitch to undo, I've even tried reformatting the iPhone to clear the dead space, and 2) caused me to buy a docking station so that I can play the music on the phone in the other room, without having to attach it to a computer.

This is irritating.
