*sigh*

So folks, there are only two Law schools in Seattle. They both said no. I know I've said it before, but then it was partially based upon the desires and decisions of others, this time...

I'm leaving Seattle, temporarily, but I have to follow this, where ever it leads.

Do what you need to do for your education/career. Seattle will be here when you are done, if you want to return.

Was the Delaware one the one you wanted to attend more so than others? Sorry about the Seattle ones. San Diego is still in the running.

About Delaware, yes and no. Yes, I wanted to get into it, but the "conditional" acceptance creates the possibility that I still may not get in. If I am accepted into another school, I will likely have to take that over Widener.

I don't get why you're having such a hard time here. :(

I was academically dismissed from a community college in '01 for failing (I stopped going to class). It's before I knew anybody and happened while I was living in Olympia. I'm sure it's a big ol' black mark sticking out on my transcripts, but represents a year of my college work. *shrug* I have an addendum in my application explaining, but... what can I do?

Harvard still hasn't said no yet.

Wow. I didn't even know something like that would matter. Don't they get that people have..you know...LIVES and can't always finish school in one shot? So is it only these specific schools that teach law, or are you shooting for a prestigious school? (I mean, in the places you'd want to live)

Harvard was the only school I applied to just because of the prestige factor. I applied for the Baltimore schools in case Amber moved there, Widener is very close by in Delaware. Then, of course, the Seattle schools, in case Amber doesn't move ( ... )
