So... just finished watching the 2010 version of "Clash of the Titans". I'm going watch the 1981 version in the next couple days to compare to the two. I wasn't overly impressed with latest version in terms of acting or story. As expected, however, the special effects were good. I'm getting less turned off by CGI, they seem to be getting at

the_dean and I were just talking about that yesterday when we spotted a copy of the 2010 version while shopping. He mentioned the thing about the owl too. I would have been more impressed had they used a real owl, or at least a CGI version.

Bobo = Bubo

It's taken me a few hours to find out that the owl "Bobo" is really "Bubo". And that it's root Greek word means "groin" as well as being a symptom of things like the bubonic plague. That's pretty awesome.
