Apoptygma Berzerk tomorrow at El Corazon. Anybody else planning on being there?

( BURNING MAN EXPERIENCE, part 1 of 3 )

I have a feeling I'm not going to do well in my English 402 class. The "big project" is a research project (again), but the objectives for it are poorly defined. It's the moments like these that I dislike the liberal arts majors.... poo.

Back from Burning Man. So much to write about, but it'll have to wait until after I finish catching up on homework.

Last night's activities included making a tidal wave and a whirl pool in a hot springs fed pool in Southern Oregon. We stayed in a camp ground (with showers.)

Well, that's it. I'm no longer employed. Had the meetings, and it's all official. This is the end of my career bring a technician. Off to Burning Man, and to start the next chapter of life,

Eh... so, I finally got around to creating a Pandora account because last night between connecting my iPhone to my laptop it hosed all the songs on my phone. 4gb of dead data. This is the second time it's done it to me. Depriving me of music is a quick way to raise my ire ( Read more... )

Four hours at work yesterday where I did nothing. I finally asked to take a half day and went home. I've been here an hour already today, and have done nothing. If I had any paid time off remaining, I'd be gone already. As it is, I understand the 'why' of laying me off, just not the 'when'. Can't I be done already?

I was worried about the cost of school with the recent rise in tuition. I knew that cause I was a veteran, the state of Washington pays for half of my tuition. I checked my financial statement from the school today to find that I earned a grant that covers the other half. I had no idea. This puts me significantly ahead of where I thought I ( Read more... )
