Oh no, that's so sad to hear. I hope your family copes well with this tragic loss. What kind of complications was she having in the first place?

She was having stomach problems for about a month and the doctors misdiagnosed her. Leading to her being hospitalized.

*nuzzles and hugs* It makes me worry what I'm gonna go thru with my grandmother when it happens to her... I'll be devastated, most likely, since I've lived with her my whole life.

I've found that at funerals, you should have something to squeeze in your pocket like a stress ball type thingy.

And, for a bit of levity... be glad this funeral isn't taking place in Texas. It seems that playing Garth Brooks or George Strait songs is now state law around here c.c

I'm not a fan of funerals. No one is really. But I remember at my grandfather's four years ago, Grams held my hand so tight, almost like she thought I was going next. It worries me when my Grams starts to cry, she's like...the Hercules of grandmothers or something. So strong and doesn't like to project her feelings openly...

...hmm..maybe that's where I get it.
