Friday was an early day so we could partake of the beautiful beach. And it was too. Soft white sand, clear blue water. The sun was out, it was in the 80s, and it was great. Thursday was the day of the 2 shows for this week. So we started out at Port St. Joe High School, but the middle school was there too. It was a tough crowd. Yeah, as usual with this program it was early but this crowd was unusually unimpressed. We didn’t bomb, it was just unusual for what we do. Tuesday we got up, got packed up and hitched up and went on our way. It continued to be chilly and pouring. We began our trek up to the panhandle of Florida. Sunday, we got up and started our dinner. Mike set to work on his sauce about 9:30ish. I started up the ham about 1:30. We were shooting for a 4pm meal. It all came out great. Saturday we got up and headed out to explore. It was a beautiful day, but a shade or two too cold to actually be on the beach. We walked to the beach and saw the white sand and crystal clear water. We walked around and saw dolphins swimming in the bay, kamikaze birds that I think were pelicans diving in the water for fish. It was a beautiful ( Read more... )

Friday we had 2 shows at Dunedin Middle School. The school was a later school I guess, so we had a 9:30-11 show and a 2:30-4 show. These 2 shows went over great, and we signed a LOT of autographs. So Thursday we got up bright and early for the show. It was actually a much more responsive and fun crowd than we expected. Teresa videotaped much of the show, and it was a good return actually. Cue to today, Monday. Today was another travel day. We got up around 11 to begin getting ready to check out of trailer trash heaven. We got hitched up and headed out by about 1pm. On Sunday, we all slept in a little. All 3 of us got sunburned from Saturday, so that was a drain, not to mention the activities of the previous evening. There was a disagreement between Phil and the person he was renting the RV site from.
