I moved into my apartment on Friday! I can't believe I am finally in. And I can't believe how much $$$ it is just to get all the stuff you need. Welcome to Hurricane Season.
Tropical Storm Katrina is coming right towards us. Luckily she is still a storm and not yet a Hurricane. So that's a good sign!! My office is closing today at 2pm and we are closed tomorrow. So, I am feeling really good today. I finally got an apartment. I move in Sept 1st. It's kind of in the ghetto, but it's not too bad. Its a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath. Its not the greatest place in the world, but it will be mine for now, and I will love it just because it will get me out on my own. I can start my little family. I had pretty much kept my marriage plans to myself, and didnt really involve many, only because I knew we werent planning anything special and I guess I felt funny about it

So, I dont think I mentioned it before, but I picked up my Marriage License the other day!! We are "paperwork getting married" on Saturday the 13th. We are just getting a notary to sign the marriage license and mailing it in.
