Well, I'm on chapter 7 of Grendel, and I'm really enjoying this story...it's refreshing compared with Beowulf though Grendel was written in the 20th century...I'm not too good with old english, but hey, I have to put up with it for the next 3 weeks

I always meant to respond to this, and still hadn't, eep! Sorry.

I loved Beowulf. We started out Brit Lit with that, then Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, and then Chaucer's Canterbury tales. They get pretty interesting, but good GOD are they a bitch to navigate through. Online websites will be your best friend when reading through them.

Good luck with the hookup part! Don't let the blind thing stop you, you seem to be a really cool guy, and other guys'll see that too! Besides that, isn't Florida like, gay central?

We started off with Beowulf, then Grendel then some old English riddles then The Young Edda...we haven't even gotten to The Canterbury Tales and Sir Gawain. I still have to write a paper (4 to 6 pgs...not bad), and the bitch is we have to do a recitation of the Lord's prayer in old English...now, this freaks me out!!! I use spark notes, and this helps me quite a bit.
A good hookup is good here and there, but "gay FL" isn't nesessarily Valhalla. I hope things are well with you, and it is great to hear from you again!
