Wow, I've been to the National Zoo a million times, but I didn't even realize B'more had a zoo.

It's WAY better, IMO. Mainly because it's smaller and you can see everything in one trip. Also, the animals tend to be out and about more often. Though, they don't tend to have some of the larger, specialty exhibits.

I was surprised to find out they had a zoo as well. A friend of ours, always-byrn, invited us to a "Brew at the Zoo" day. So, it was an afternoon of zoo, followed by beer!
