Michael Jackson's death officially ruled a homicide.

This just proves the theory I've been espousing all along: we'll never again be able to turn on the news without hearing the words "Michael Jackson.".

isn't that the truth? I hate to see that the nut job LaToya was right all along.

I envy and admire your ability to even pretend. Truly I do.

I don't watch television*, I had stuff going on that kept me off the computer, and he died during our local NPR station's Fund Drive week, so actually he'd been dead for two days before I found out.

* Actually I watch a lot of television, but not *current* TV. My television watching is limited to what I can get from Netflix, so sometimes I will take a week and, say, watch every episode of Dead Like Me or Season One of Dead Wood. It keeps me constantly behind the times.

Now I honestly envy you. I was in the middle of the woods at cub scout camp when he died and I heard it from multiple sources within the hour. I was tired of hearing about it the same hour.

It's the new OJ thing: all the news outlets assume we're hanging on every word of the drama.

I don't watch the news. I only get the headlines from Foxnews.com on my RSS reader. Earlier today every headline was Michael Jackson's Death Officially Ruled A Homocide. UGHH!

Or at least as long as this case drags on in court.

I don't see how enabling a grown man can be murder.
