Yay for cliché vampires and retarded plots that just happen to suck you in until you've read the whole thing.
I read the first book at least a year ago or something, wasn't overly impressed (although at the time I couldn't stop turning the pages) and forgot about it.  'Till a few months ago, when my friend was raving about the next books in the ( Read more... )

Twilight is . . . well sort of appallingly bad at times, but it's READABLY bad if that makes sense? I read, and was entertained, even though I frequently cringed and knew it was horrible in places. :)

I did the cringing thing, at times I had to wonder why it got published like that. But my biggest problem with it (from what I remember) was the plot. I felt like the second half of the book was like finishing a romance movie with a car chase and mindless violence between the romantic couple (and co.) and random other badly introduced characters. I'm hoping the plot is smoother in the next book.

The stories read sort of like fanfic to me, and I think that's why I'm more forgiving of it, for some reason. Even though I'll click out of stories as soon as they start to irritate me usually, unless they're incredible otherwise.

It's . . . well really not much more coheisve. lol But there's somre less stilted interactions and such at least.

THAT's IT! Yes, it DID read like fanfiction!
Haha, yeah, I do the same to most of the things I begin reading which aren't worth the time. I guess the book(s) are at least worthy of being posted on the internet for free. (Wow, that's sorta horrible.)

I guess that a slight improvement, then. That's good.
