Feeding the Homeless

I had a very fulfilling day today. I went with my mother in law & Poy's cousins to DC to feed the homeless. Although I was a witness of a more deplorable state of poverty in the Philippines, I could not help but feel the same kind of angst against injustice & question how a man loses his decency of living. sa totoo lang, kung pwede gawing full-time job ang pagkakawang-gawa ako ang mauuna sa pila.

ito ang napansin ko - iba ang poverty dito kumpara sa atin. dito sa US, it's a choice to become poor. samantalang sa atin, there's not enough opportunity to overcome such a deplorable state. ang daming pagkain at ang daming pera dito sa amerika. it surprises me to see people beg for food or money.

anyway, we sure are blessed! it's something to be thankful for the coming week.

i went to bed at 8 pm and now im up...i have binyag tomorrow ako ang ninang so i have to do grocery sa lulutuin ko mamaya...sorry i missed your text...i think it's a flock of ducks???

I think a flock works but there are are other less-commonly used terms like a bunch or a brace of ducks.. thanks for the input mujer & curlytop!
