There was this old woman who checked-in to the hotel and from the way she looked, I figured out she was a Filipina. I decided to speak the native language and how their jaws dropped when she found out I was a kababayan ( Read more... )

langya ka. ang tagal na nyan no.. anyway, salamat po. patay na pala si inday badiday. grabe... namiss ko bigla ang "careful, careful, kailangang maging careful.." parang kahanay ni inday si nida blanca. yung mga artista na parang di mo inaasahang mamamatay kaagad...

Hello, feeling kong mag-comment dito, kasi ang ganda ng entry mo. :)

I used to work for a hotel, too, pero not once akong na-meet na Filipino. It's weird cuz we used to have a lot of hotel vouchers from the airport, kasi malapit kami doon.

Okay lang ba kung i-add kita sa friends list ko? Your journal is a fun read. :)

I used to work at Harvey Hotel DFW, under the Bristol Hotels and Resorts (I believe pinalitan na nila ang pangalan nila into Six Continents something). I worked there for a year and a half as night audit supervisor. I miss it, but not really. :P
