What an exciting day!
It was dentist time today. Don't see what the big deal is with people not liking the dentist. If it means my teeth are nice and healthy (and totally not like the British stereotype) and pain and decay free, then I'm fine with the regular check ups and work done in my mouth. AND for a fraction of the cost that it would cost in other countries!
What did Jala have done? A filling in my bottom left wisdom tooth. An X-ray on my other bottom wisdom tooth (That was 'suspect' at the last appointment, but fine today!) had a scraping of some teeth and booked my next 6 month appointment.
The cost? £47! That includes the original check up that diagnosed all of this (that had two x-rays done at that time as well!)
Who says the NHS is failing???
I had one tiny instance of pain, but only cause the infection was so deep. The dentist, Svetlana, is supernice. So now I have another shiney bit of metal in my mouth. Guess it goes to show that constant vigilance helps in the long run. I'm approaching the end of my 3rd decade alive and all I've had done is one and a half fillings and a the removal of a partially crumbled wisdom tooth. All those in the last five years.
So, feeling pretty good I came home to see that Spec Ops Jazz had arrived! Yey! Such a smart fellow. His speakers can be attached to his gun. He's in a pretty bad ass pose at the minute, but I'm gonna try to find a way of making him 'dance'. Lol. I technically have the Special Ops team, what with having Hologram Mirage and legend Bumblebee. But that's not good enough for me. Classics Mirage and classics Bumblebee are also on their way.
When they get here, that will take my TF count to 20 1/2 (I have half a hologram Mirage, sent to me by the guy I bought the full Mirage from. Long story)
So I spent some time messing around with him, and I get a knock at my bedroom door. Flatmate turns up with another bigger box. It's my winter coat! Lovely, plum, double breast duffel-esque coat. My mother bought it for me while I was visiting and had it sent here. I was wearing it around the house until it became too hot to have on. Lol. just in time for bonfire night!
Over all, a massively positive day, ad it's only just noon.
