[grin] They're really fabulous - I love how once they find their mate for the season, they just stand there together, beak to beak or gazing into each other eyes.
The most interesting parts of animal behavior is, how they mate. In some kind, male always clean his nest to invite his prospective, and to be accepted. Others may decorate his nest with beautiful flowers, which will be tested aesthetic sense, which may linked to the ability to please female. Penguins, when male penguin find a female he likes, he will go out to find a larger stone possible to carry back and give it to her. Female penguin usually prefer male that can carry her larger stone, and she can decide whether or not she will accept his proposal. These animal mating behavior always amuse me, and I can learn a lot from them.
