Why is it, that women are always seen as the victim, the weak one, the one that might be emotionally upset by a break up? Believe me, if I ever saw toni emotionally upset..this is not it. I, however am. What's with people, why is this world so fucked up as to where a guy can't even have emotions or feelings for fear of retribution

I'm taking a class called "gender and society" and we talked about the socialization of men and women, how men are supposed to be strong and emotionless whereas women are weak and emotional. Feminist theory states that it's a way of social control, to keep men in power, or something... Regardless, I agree that it's fucked up.

You were supposed to update me last night, but oh well I guess. Was this just a cry to get people to respond to you? The whole moving away thing, if it's time for a change it's time for a change, but we all sometimes need a big lifestyle change. I want to go to Hawaii, because it would be a lifestyle change, but i'm happy. Find a way to be happy Ian. If it is someone else that makes you happy, then it's not right. I know you'll be mad at me saying this, but you need to like where you are to like where you are going.

Actually, I am pretty happy, other than this. I'm going to school, I'll have a temp job soon at least, so other than her, I am happy, I enjoy what I do and there isn't much more I can say.
