I found lots of those accidental videos in the network and now it's happening to me too.
I wonder...Do those things have an own will or are they just not programmed well?

When I particularly do not want it to record, I cover it ith something, yes? My coat, a random item, whatever is at hand. But most of the time, things are not so personal that I do not want them shown.

I know nothing of programming, though I have seen a great deal of 'sentient' life. They could well be as intelligent as some I have seen.
