so it turns out that...

My fish is still alive. Considering that he was inbetween a rock-tent structure in his tank, floating somewhat sideways and not responding to any of my tapping on his tank, I find him a while later swimming around like he didn't scare nobody. Weird ass fish....

Still love him though.

Kittens do that. My family had one that was gone for 3 weeks. He came back 10 pounds heavier with a belled collar on him.

Oh no! She's adorable. I hope she comes back. How long have you had her? Animals have a strong sense of loyalty to those who take them into their homes. When I was little, my mom tried to give our dog away to a neighbor who lived 5 blocks away. He came back a week later, sitting at our front door. I hope she's okay and on her way back to you.

lol! I don't know. Beta fish are normally top water dwellers. Perhaps he was just sleeping. It's not the first time he's done that. So I was relieve to find him jetting around his house. If he starts to turn the water into wine, that may be a cause for concern.

yeah, it's weird. He wasn't breathing, his gills weren't moving. His fins were sorta kinda flapping...but no response. Then la tee dah. I don't know what to think.
