Icon tutorial requested by scurvy. =D

We're going from

this:
to this:

Using PSP7.

LET'S GET IT STARTED! LET'S GET IT STARTED IN HERE! OOO HOOO. UH HUH. OO HOO!

....

Okay I'm calm. I'm listening to Black Eyed Peas...XD

Before I start, I would like to say this is my spin-off from __red_lipstick's icon tutorial.

Alright, take this base ((or a base of your own)). This is the base I will be using today:
. It's the disney channel stars, Aly & AJ!

Duplicate the base and set it to Screen at 100%.

Use Color Balance. (Effects >> Enhance Photo >> Automatic Color Balance). Settings: strength: 100, temperature: 9300, Check the 'remove color cast'. Hit OK.

Use Automatic Saturation Enhancement. ((Effects >> Enhance Photo >> Automatic Saturation Enhancement)). Settings: more colorful, strong, skintones present is checked off. Hit OK.

Repeat the above steps one more time. ((NOT THE SCREENED DUPLICATE LAYER STEP!))

Now create a new raster layer and fill it with #C0C0C0 ... or you can copy&paste this:

Set that to color burn at 100%.

Make a new raster layer and fill it with #048CE6 ... or you can copy&paste this:

Set that to color burn at 40%.

AND VIOLA (...is that how you spell it?! xD)) You now have your icon! It should be looking like the below:

That's it, you're done! Give yourself a pat on the back, you deserve it!

Hope you had fun and thanks for reading babe! Please leave a comment and tell me how you liked it or if you have any problems! I'll do my best to help you.
