Took my Boy Scouts on a hike/campout this weekend. We packed out all of our gear we would need and hiked to our site. Set up camp, ate lunch (nothing beats good ole' beanieweinies) and then continued more hiking. Did all the usual camping stuff. Life is calming down.

After my sentencing when so well, I'm feeling a bit of my old self coming back. So much weight has been lifted off of my shoulders.

This weekend was full of anxiety not knowing when or if Ron was going to be at my home. Thank goodness he did not show up. There was a beautiful bouquet of flowers left at Aar's grave. I do hope that Ron was able to come down and see Aar, and that he was able to find as much peace and comfort as I do when I go there ( Read more... )

Have been MIA for a bit. Have a lot to deal with right now and haven't been too upbeat. Had a small "breakdown" a couple weeks ago. I don't really leave the house and yard much except for doing the shopping, going to church and going to Ben's ball games ( Read more... )

My honey was home!!!!

Greg and his mom were here for a week and I just loved it! I didn't get to do near as much stuff as I wanted to with each of them, but it was great having the visit. If we can finance it, Ben and I will go out to Idaho for Thanksgiving, otherwise Greg will be home around Christmas.

I feel like I've done nothing but travel this weekend. Ben and I got on the train at 5:00 pm Friday and got into Newton, KS at 3:30 AM. We had my brothers wedding Saturday and then spent almost 11 hours on the road Sunday riding back with my parents. I don't have enough cushion on my butt to be sitting for that long!
