I know where to get it, actually. Potassium cyanide is a nessecary chemical involved in detecting the metal, zinc, in water. You can get it from anywhere that tests for zinc, be it a water treatment company, or a steel plant, or any place that does electroplating. I believe you can also find it inside the seeds of apples, so, eat enough appleseeds and you may build up enough toxicity.

The coolest part of all of it, is how it all works.

Cyanide ions bind to the iron atom of the enzyme cytochrome c oxidase in the mitochondria of cells. This deactivates the enzyme and breaks the electron transport chain, meaning that the cell can no longer use the oxygen which is available to it.

Tissues that mainly depend on aerobic respiration, such as the central nervous system and the heart, are particularly affected.

Plants contain a cyanide-insensitive pathway for respiration in their mitochondria, and as a result are insensitive to concentrations of cyanide that are lethal to animals.

There are many different antidotes to cyanide and death by it takes time, so, beforewarned, it's not the easiest way to assure your demise, you can be brought back from it.
