Ah...Well, there are two main methods used in my universe for that. One is guaranteed to be traumatic and the other may well be and also includes the use of a spectrum enhancement drug. I used the latter with Cloud.

[Oh James, this man does not give up a hunt or challenge once one has been issued. So he's been keeping an extra eye out during his patrols, figuring the guy's gotta leave his house eventually.
