New Australian Kernel Conference

Mar 12, 2009 01:05

I just noticed that there's a new conference for open source kernel developers and researchers, Kernel Conference Australia (KCA). It'll be held at UQ in Brisbane in July, and the CfP closes on May 1st.

Linux currently looks a little under-represented, so let's try and fix that :-)

bsd, brisbane, os, kernel, opensolaris, events, linux, developers, kca, kca2009

Hi James,

we've got an official conference website up and running now (http://au.sun.com/sunnews/events/2009/kernel), a facebook event (http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/event.php?eid=55116884131) and registrations open on Monday the 4th of May.

Do you reckon you'll be able to come along? How about presenting a paper?

Cheers,

James C. McPherson
