Can't they be spelt both ways?!
I though Faeries was just the British spelling.

when i was 10 i read a book about a girl who found a little faerie village in the woods in her backyard, and the faeries told her that the real spelling was f-a-e-r-i-e, so that's how i've always spelled it.
